What does Pitbull Actually Do?

Recording artist Pitbull seems to be very successful, but what does he actually do?  I use the term recording artist loosely because at the very least we know he records something.

Nobody seems to know the answer to this question.  It's an existential question like, "If a tree falls in the forrest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

It's not really fair to call what Pitbull does as rap because that would be an affront to the rap community. Besides,  I've never heard anyone refer to him as a rapper.

Pitbull doesn't qualify as singer either.  It's more like he's using spoken word with occasional rhyming and yelling stuff.  Kind of like a more successful homeless guy harassing you for money on the street.

Maybe what he does is considered reggaeton, but that doesn't seem like the correct qualification.  None of his songs sound anything like that style of music or have reggae influence.

I guess if there's one thing we do know for sure, Pitbull will always yell, "Mr. 305, Mr. Worldwide, and Dale" to begin every song.

The mystery of what Pitbull does may never be answered, and we have to accept that.

At the very least, let's acknowledge that he may be the world's greatest con man.   He's somehow convinced people to give him money for wearing a suit and yelling nonsense on stage.
